Please read these pages carefully to assist in a smooth and successful transition to NC State. Students who attend the 2012 August Orientation at NC State University should complete their class registration process during the summer before coming to campus. Click on the links to the left for check-in time and location. Be sure to print out the August Orientation parking permit located in the grey box to the right.
Registration is the procedure whereby a student, after consultation with an adviser, selects courses to be taken during the next semester (click here to see a list of registration and advising information). At NC State University, registration is completed using the online MyPack Portal System.
Remember, that course selection and registration are to be completed before August Orientation. If you are in need of advising, but have not yet been in contact with your academic adviser and/or a representative of your academic department, please contact them as soon as possible. Do not wait until August Orientation.
