NC State Students Participated in Summer Chinese Program in NNU

Organized by the Confucius Institute at NC State University, three NC State students, Olivier, Matthew and Allison, have participated in a five week long summer study abroad program in Nanjing Normal University , Nanjing , China , from May 21 to June24.

In Nanjing Normal University , the students have been arranged in different levels of intensive

Chinese Language learning classes, with other international students from different countries. Besides attending Chinese language classes every morning, they also participated several lectures on Chinese calligraphy, music, martial arts, etc. They also got chances to explore the Nanjing City , which is one of the most famous ancient capitals of China , with many interesting historic sites, cultural attractions.

During the five week program, the students also have excursions to Beijing , Shanghai , Suzhou and Yellow Mountain , visited many historic and natural interesting places in China .
