Confucius Institute Cooperated with others in Running Several Chinese New Year Events
| To celebrate Chinese New Year and enhance understanding of Chinese culture among community on campus,Confucius Institute has held a Chinese culoture showcase infront of the D.H library on on Thursday, Feb. 7th (Chinese new year's day). Faculty of Confucius Institute and some Chinese students displaied some Chinese artwork, craft and books, presented traditional Chinese caligraphy, painting and Tai Chi. |

| To celebrate Chinese New Year and reach out to community on and off campus, Confucius Institute Cooperated with the Chinese Stydents and Scholars Association held a New Year Party on the evening of Friday, Feb. 8th. |

| On Febrary 10, 2008, Confucius Institute Jointed Chinese-American Friendship Association in the Triangle Area(CAFA) and others, successfully held the 2008 Chinese New Year Gala in the Memorial Hall of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |
