Invited by the Raleigh Academy of Chinese Language (RACL), Dr. Keqian Xu, Visiting Professor and Deputy Director of Confucius Institute at North Carolina State University , came to the Academy to give a lecture to some of the teachers and parents on March 8. Dr. Xu introduced the nature, mission and goal of Confucius Institute, and the newly development of the CI's programs, he emphasized that the cooperation between Confucius Institute and the local Chinese Community is crucial for the further development of CI in this area. Dr. Xu also discussed with the attendees on variety topics concerning Chinese Language Learning and Chinese culture.
