NC State's International Connections

There are many international connections within the greater NC State community. This community expands to include both our local, state and regional community, as well as our larger 16-campus system.

SAIL (Searchable Archive of International Linkages) - At present, SAIL includes only MOUs, however our database will soon be expanded to include non-MOUs and personal faculty/staff connections, providing a greater resource and encourage further international partnerships.

The UNC System - A commitment of cooperation by the 16 campuses within the UNC system.

NC State Peace Corps - An opportunity for student international education and involvement.

The ACC Connection - An agreement by the Chancellors of the ACC universities in a joint effort to promote international education.

Academic Consortium21 - The Academic Consortium (AC21) is an international network comprised of educational, research and industrial organizations throughout the world. The Consortium has been established to encourage the further advancement of global cooperation to the benefit of higher education and to contribute to world and regional society. NC State is a participating university. Every two years AC21 organizes the AC21 International Forum to evaluate results, discuss future planning and to reassess the roles of universities in a changing society. The next Forum will be in 2008.
