    International Opportunities


    • Study Abroad: The Study Abroad Office provides the opportunity for students to participate in academic international exchange programs.
    • OIS Programs: The Office of International Services (OIS) hosts a number of different programs aimed at acculturating international students to the United States and easing the transition to student life at North Carolina State University.
    • CSLEPS: The Center for Student Leadership, Ethics and Public Service (CSLEPS) offers opportunities to volunteer, network, and enhance leadership skills for NC State Students.
    • International Student Groups: NCSU hosts many international student organizations. These groups are an excellent way to experience other cultures, practice speaking foreign languages, and prepare yourself for study abroad.
    • Peace Corps: The Peace Corps is a program that allows individuals to volunteer abroad for an extended period of time; this programs is a wonderful opportunity for individuals to learn about the world we live in and how to improve relations between cultures for the benefit of all.

  • Alexander Global Village: Alexander Global Village is a campus residential community for students interested in living and interacting with other students from different countries, backgrounds, and viewpoints.
  • SCOLA: SCOLA is a non-profit educational organization that receives and re-broadcasts television programs from around the world. Please visit the OIS website to sign up for access to SCOLA.
  • Global Proficiency Certificate: The goal of the Global Perspectives Certificate is to recognize students for their international studies and activities, and to encourage students to continue their global interests both overseas and within the United States. All undergraduate degree-seeking students and all majors are welcome, including undergraduate international students visit thier website
