research and engagement.
- Funding Opportunities: There are a number of funding opportunities and resources available to NC State faculty and staff who wish to develop international initiatives.
- Study Abroad:
The Study Abroad Office works with faculty to better integrate study abroad into the curriculum and to advance the internationalization of NC State. To go directly to their website click here
- SAIL: The Searchable Archive of International Linkages (SAIL) is a database of information on research and education linkages between NC State and institutions in other countries.
- Fulbright:
The Fulbright Scholars Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, offers U.S. faculty, administrators, and professionals grants to lecture, research, or participate in seminars abroad.
- NSF International Programs:
The National Science Foundation offers funding opportunities for researchers in Science and Engineering.
- State Department Travel Website: Up to date general and country-specific travel information for those planning on travelling and living abroad. For foreign country visa information, visit the State Department's visa information page.
- NC State's Travel Clinic:
Our very own convenient, Travel Clinic, is available for faculty and staff traveling internationally on University related activities. They provide comprehensive personalized recommendations, medications and vaccinations according to each traveler's health needs and itinerary. The cost of the service is $75.00 plus the cost of immunizations.
- Hosting International Scholars: Please encourage your international visitors to register with our office. Click on the link to visit our Visitor's Registration Page.
- SCOLA: SCOLA is a non-profit educational organization that receives and transmits television broadcasting from around the world in native languages. Please contact the Office of International Services (OIS) to sign up for this free program.
