- Global Training Initiative: The Global Training Initiative (GTI) is a program at North Carolina State University designed to enhance international partnerships between NC State, businesses in North Carolina, and people around the world. Often it is difficult for international students to get a visa to study in America, but the GTI opens new doors for this to happen through its certificate programs. The GTI is currently offering two certificates in US Culture and Education for international students.

- Study Abroad: The Study Abroad Office provides the opportunity for students to participate in academic international exchange programs.
- OIS Programs:
The Office of International Services (OIS) hosts a number of different programs aimed at acculturating international students to the United States and easing the transition to student life at North Carolina State University.
- CSLEPS: The Center for Student Leadership, Ethics and Public Service (CSLEPS) offers opportunities to volunteer, network, and enhance leadership skills for NC State Students in the U.S. and abroad.
- International Student Groups:
NCSU hosts many international student organizations. These groups are an excellent way to experience other cultures, practice speaking foreign languages, and prepare yourself for study abroad.
- Peace Corps: The Peace Corps is a program that allows individuals to volunteer abroad for an extended period of time in a variety of fields. NC State has an on-campus recruiter located in 325 Daniels Hall.

Alexander Global Village is a campus residential community for students interested in living and interacting with other students from different countries, backgrounds, and viewpoints.
- Summer Institute in English: The Summer Institute in English, part of the English as a Second Language program at North Carolina State University, is designed for students, business people and professionals pursuing more advanced proficiency in English.
- SCOLA is a non-profit educational organization that receives and re-broadcasts television programs from around the world. Please visit the Office of International Services to sign up for access to SCOLA.
