Study Abroad Scholarship Award Ceremony, April 24

Christina Cavaliere of the International Ecotourism Society will speak on "Agro-Tourism: Ecolution and Current Practices" at 4pm in Jordan Hall 1132.

For Russia with Love: An Evening of Music and Dance

Wednesday, February 14, 2007, 7:30pm. Exploris Museum Experience music and dance by two award-winning groups from St. Petersburg, the Golden Gates and Moscow Nights. This very special evening will include performances of Russian songs, rituals, folk stories and games. All proceeds from this event will fund the purchase, oversight and direct distribution of supplies, medicine and other necessities for the orphans of Kursk, Russia. Darfur Awareness Week: Jan 30-Feb 6

NC State hosts Darfur Awareness Week. Several lectures, talks, and panels are planned. Throughout the week, donations will be accepted for the Save Darfur Coalition from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day on the Brickyard. Visit the week's schedule of events.

Istanbul International Day, Feb. 11, Noon-midnight

The Turkish Student Association is sponsoring Istanbul International Day as a cultural awareness program, planned to educate the community about Istanbul and its rich history through live performances and cultural shows. Talley Student Center, Walnut Room. See here for more details.
