After the information has been uploaded into the SEVIS system, we will generate a cover letter detailing your authorization for on campus employment and contact you regarding when you can pick it up. The SEVIS system does not allow us to authorize more than 12 months of on campus employment at a time, be sure that you request new employment authorization each year if necessary. New Students may not be authorized for an employment start date that is earlier than the program begin date on their DS-2019.

If you experience difficulty submitting this request online, you may scan it and e-mail it to OIS (preferred), fax it to OIS (515-1402), or bring/send a hard copy to OIS.
