iM.O.M - International Moms or Mates: iM.O.M. is a group for spouses of international students and scholars at NC State University. Meetings are held every Wednesday from 2 PM to 4 PM at the E.S. King Commons building. Two Wednesdays of the month feature a cooking class of typical American recipes while the other meetings of the month focus on different aspects of American culture, projects, or community activities. Past topics have included cross-cultural communication, weddings, babies, and holidays. iM.O.M. is a place for personal growth, friendship, and fun - a place to belong in an unfamiliar place. Children are welcome. Please join us!
