OISSS follows the University’s Adverse Weather Policy.

You can also call the University’s emergency call-in line at 513-8888 for up to the minute information.
In the event that the Wake County School System closes public schools or the Governor closes state agencies, OISSS will cancel and/or re-schedule any planned events and individual office appointments for that day.
The office will remain open if the University is open (provided the OISSS staff can travel safely to and from the office) and we will accept phone calls, but please call the OISSS phone number (515-2961) to confirm a previously scheduled appointment. Please be safe.
