Cultural Crossroads
***This
program is currently not meeting.***
Cultural
Crossroads is series of programs in which internationals on campus have
an opportunity to share with the campus community about their own cultures and
countries. During the 2001-2002
school year, NC State international students and scholars presented on Africa,
Argentina, China, Ecuador, India, Japan, and the Middle East using computer
presentations, music, food, and art.
From Tai Chi demonstrations to origami art and calligraphy, Cultural
Crossroads provides a unique way to learn first-hand about other cultures around
the world.
Cultural
Crossroads meets in the Caldwell Hall Lounge from 12:00noon-1:00pm the LAST
Friday of each month during the academic school year (except August, December,
and May). Bring your lunch and a
friend!
For
those from other cultures, you are invited to give a
Cultural Crossroads presentation Please contact OIS@ncsu.edu
or call 515-2961 for more information or to confirm
a presentation date.
