Accessing your Calendar / Email
Web Access
To access your WolfWise Calendar from any computer connected to the Internet, go to https://gwweb.ncsu.edu. Although the interface differs from the desktop version, you can access virtually all the same features.

Desktop Clients
In order to use the GroupWise client or access files from CS servers from any off campus location, customers must have VPN software installed. GroupWise WebAccess (https://gwweb.ncsu.edu) does not require the VPN client.
All computers (including personally owned) connecting to the campus network are required to install and enable the University site-licensed anti-virus software (Symantec Antivirus). More information on this requirement can be found in the Campus AntiVirus Requirements Regulation.
To download the campus VPN software and access installation instructions, log in to the VPN @ NC State secure site with your Unity id and password. Once logged in, you must agree to comply with the NC State VPN Agreement in order to proceed.
Customers must log in to the VPN client each time they wish to access CS supported services. Instructions on setting up the VPN client are available HERE.

This document was created with a focus on working with the desktop client. During the Fall of 2008, faculty and staff with a UnityID will have a WolfWise Calendar Account created for them automatically. Once the WolfWise account is assigned, you can log into it with your UnityID or First and Last name and Unity password. Until then your WolfWise user name is: [UnityID] and your password is given to you by the person who created your account. This is a temporary password and should be changed the first time you log in.
NOTE: Once WolfWise is rolled out to campus, everyone’s password will to to their unity password. Current users of the calendar will be notified of this by email. For additional information about the WolfWise Email / Calendar solution continue to check this site.
