welcome to open house

Did you attend Open House 2009? Your impressions and opinions are important to us and will help us improve future Open House programs. Please take a few minutes to fill out a brief survey and tell us what you thought!

Visiting the campus is often times the best way for prospective students to get a complete picture of a university and its programs. We invite you and your family to visit our campus for the 2009 Open House at NC State University on Saturday, October 17th, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. To view a PDF version of this year's program, please click here

During Open House, our faculty, staff, and students representing each of the academic colleges will be available to answer all of your questions about the different programs and services available at NC State. Each of the academic areas will have displays in either Talley Student Center or Carmichael Gym, and many will also have their facilities open for you to visit while you are here. University support services and student organizations will also be represented with displays. Student tour guides will give all of our visitors a special tour of the campus, and the Undergraduate Admissions Office staff will conduct information sessions throughout the morning to answer questions about the NC State admissions process.

Open House begins outside Talley Student Center on the morning of October 17th. At that time, you will receive an Open House program, highlighting all the activities for the day. Parking is available near Reynolds Coliseum and the Talley Student Center; just follow the signs once you enter the NC State campus. Please continue to check this site for updates, including information on the registration process.

I hope you and your family will plan to join us on October 17th for a fun and informative day. If you have any questions about Open House, please call the Undergraduate Admissions Office at (919) 515-2434.
