Orientation Arrival and Check-In
Orientation Check-in is from 8:00 to
9:15 a.m. at Lee Residence Hall. Once you
arrive on campus using the directions provided,
Orientation signs will direct you to the Lee
Lot and West Lot on Sullivan Drive, where you
will be able to park during Orientation.
Along
with checking in for Orientation, you will have
the opportunity to check in to your room for
the night. You will be issued a suite key
and a room key for use during Orientation. Lee
is a non-smoking residence hall. Students
must abide by all University policies, along with state and federal laws, and
will be held responsible for their actions.
Meals for students during Orientation (lunch and dinner on the
first day and breakfast on the second day) are included in the
New Student Orientation fee and will be served at Fountain Dining
Hall, located next to Lee Residence Hall.
Policy Regarding Alcoholic Beverages At Orientation
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED! Orientation
participants are subject to the Code of Student Conduct,
which can be found on the Web at www.ncsu.edu/student_conduct. It
mandates that consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages
by all persons under the age of 21 is strictly forbidden. This
is also the law in the State of North Carolina. Students
who disregard this mandate will be held accountable for their
behavior and disciplinary actions from the University will
result.
Orientation Check-Out
Orientation check-out will be located at Lee
Residence Hall. You will need to check out of your room and to be sure
you return your room and suite keys. Failure to return keys
at Check-out will result in a replacement fee of up to $110 PER
KEY.
