Information for Out of State Students
Congratulations
and welcome to North Carolina State University, home of
the Wolfpack! New Student Orientation recognizes that you
are facing many tough decisions as you embark on your collegiate
journey. Therefore, we are inviting you and your family
to
a special program designed to assist out of state students
transition to Raleigh and NC State University.
This informative
session will be held on the first night of each Orientation
Session. Our goal is for students and family members to gain a sense of ease and have any unanswered questions
addressed. To help provide such a venue, Orientation Counselors
from both out of state and North Carolina will share their experiences
and serve as facilitators.
During this program, participants will receive a valuable information
packet that will serve as a supplement to other materials received during the Orientation Session. This packet includes
information such as local businesses, how to get around without
a car, North Carolina culture,
how to get involved on campus, and more!
We believe
the Out of State Program will be of great interest to you.
If you
have any questions, please email them to orientation@ncsu.edu.
We look forward to your arrival this summer!
