New Student Orientation Advisory Committee
The primary purpose of this committee will be to serve as a resource to New Student Orientation as they plan, oversee the implementation of, and evaluate several orientation sessions conducted at various times during the year for new and transfer students at NC State University.
New Student Orientation will be requesting specific recommendations, feedback, and information from committee members so that academic programs for the students can be coordinated and implemented by the office of New Student Orientation.
New Student Orientation will work closely with committee members, faculty and administrators to assist students in achieving academic success. This includes developing procedures and guidelines that can be used at all first year and transfer Orientation sessions as well as promoting academic messages from the Provost office.
In full alignment with the mission of New Student Orientation, the NSO Advisory Committee will provide value-added services to our new and prospective students.
