Recommendations for Orientation Counselor Candidates


The Office of New Student Orientation is seeking recommendations of students that would make excellent candidates for the Orientation Counselor position. Specifically, NSO is looking for students that have strength or potential in the following areas:

  • Experience and ability in leading small groups; this includes comfort in front of a group as well as ability to develop a rapport with new students
  • Ability to be a positive team member
  • Ability to represent the university in a positive manner, through professionalism, good judgement, knowledge, and genuineness

Please list students that you believe would make excellent candidates for the Orientation Counselor positions. All candidates must be full time undergraduate students, have a minimum 2.5 GPA during employment and be in good standing with the University. The office of New Student Orientation will contact the students to provide them with information about the position and encourage them to apply.
