Welcome Spring-Entry Students!

The Office of New Student Orientation, Division of Undergraduate Academic Programs, would like to welcome all first-year, transfer, and newly matriculated students to North Carolina State University. We are excited to meet you and look forward to welcoming you to the Wolfpack!

It is required that you attend Orientation to receive vital information, such as course placement, parking information, computer resources, and to learn about opportunities inside and outside the classroom.

Orientation is mandatory and all students--First-Year, Transfer, and former NC State Lifelong Education students--must attend.

Spring Entry Orientation is designed for incoming students and is coordinated by the Office of New Student Orientation. Parents and family members are welcome to stay with their students throughout most of the student program or they can choose to attend Parents’ Orientation ($65 fee), a program specifically designed for parents and family members.

The Parents’ Orientation program is coordinated by Parents & Families Services and details about the program, including a sample schedule, are available on line at www.ncsu.edu/for_parents
