Placement Testing
All students who need to be placed in French, Spanish, German, or Latin should visit the Foreign Language Technology Center website at http://chasslabs.chass.ncsu.edu/laundry/home and click on location and hours to view lab operation hours or call 919.513.2463. The lab is located on the corner of Current and Stinson Drives. The computerized test takes 25-30 minutes and the results are available immediately.
For all other languages, or if you have questions, contact the Associate Department Head, Dr. Dudley M. Marchi, dmm@ncsu.edu. International students who need to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) should follow the information from the Office of International Services.
