WELCOME TO NC STATE UNIVERSITY!

All newly admitted students are required to attend New Student Orientation, a program that is designed to help introduce you to NC State.

Once you have paid your Advanced Enrollment Deposit confirming you are coming to NC State, the following list of things needs to be completed:

  1. Determine which Orientation session you should attend by reviewing the dates.
  2. Register for Orientation by either completing the online registration form or by calling the Office of New Student Orientation at 919.515.1234.
  3. Review additional Orientation information that is located here on this website by following the links to the left. You will also want to print out the following:
    • Orientation Packet - this packet has the most essential Orientation information. Bring this with you to Orientation.
    • Parking Permit - this permit is required to be displayed in the designated parking lots during Orientation.
    • Transfer Student Checklist - print out a copy of the checklist, which provides helpful information on what you need to do before coming to Orientation.

    4. (Note: You can also contact the Office of New Student Orientation to request hard copies of the above materials)

  4. Review the New Student Orientation Frequently Asked Questions database (Ask the Pack) or contact the Office of New Student Orientation if you have questions about the Orientation program or your transition to NC State.
