Transfer Orientation Schedule

Check-in is from 8:00 – 8:45 a.m. in the North Gallery, 2nd floor of the Talley Student Center, which is located on Cates Avenue.  You must check in to receive your Information Packet and program schedule.  After check-in, meet fellow NC State students and enjoy the morning refreshments provided by New Student Orientation.

The morning program will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. in Stewart Theatre, which is located on the 2nd floor.  You will be introduced to the NC State academic community and support services. 

Following lunch at Fountain Dining Hall, afternoon sessions will include a presentation by Registration & Records, and meetings with your college or academic department to assist you in planning your fall schedule.  Plan on a 4:00 p.m. departure.

Below is a basic overview of the Transfer Orientation sessions and may vary depending upon your college. You will receive an exact schedule when you check in at Orientation. Transfer Orientation Check-in will be in Talley Student Center.

1:50-2:15 p.m. Escort to Campus Offices
