Trail Descriptions
Merchants Millpond Trail is located on the 760 acre millpond at Merchants Millpond State Park. Two trails are marked on the millpond, leading to the canoe-in family and group campsites. The millpond offers excellent opportunities for a half day or full day of paddling. Bennett's Creek Trail begins at the canoe launch site, just below the dam for Merchants Millpond and follows Bennett's Creek to the Town of Gatesville.
