Access SC-BR-27     Intracoastal Waterway/Shallotte Point
Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate Difficulty: Easy/Moderate Time Required: Variable, plan on 2 miles per hour paddling time
This access provides a variety of paddling options. There are numerous islands located in the Shallotte River adjacent to Tripp's Fishing Center that can provide a number of paddling adventures. We have not described the trails through these islands, as with a good map the paddler should be able to determine his own routes. The other trails listed on this page provide more specific paddle trail options for this area.
