Handicapped
Accessibility on the campus of Starmount High School (Grades 9-12)-Students
assume the role of a disabled person and attempt to document the problems
of inaccessibility faced on campus by these students. Events
are recorded by a videographer. Problem includes objectives
from Health Team Relations, Allied Health Sciences II, Applied Technical
Mathematics, Trade and Industrial Education, Communication Skills,
Computer Technology, Arts Education, and Social Studies. |

Infection
Control/Workplace Safety (Grades 11 & 12)-Students
assume the role of nurse managers in a hospital and are faced with
an infection control crisis. They examine the feasible ways
to solve and control the problem. |

Malnutrition
(12th grade)-Students, working in small groups, attempt
to find innovative ways to solve the problem of malnutrition.
The focus is on finding workable and reasonable solutions, adoptable
by any patient. |

Sex
Education (Grades 9-12)-The students' role is to find
an effective way for schools to teach sex education. |

Patient
Education in Interdisciplinary Health Care Settings (High
School, College)-Students assume roles of various health
care professionals and educators to problem solve patient education
issues. |
