1. All teachers should schedule
time during each week when they are available to consult with students.
Academic department heads have the responsibility to set appropriate standards
regarding the mix between office hours and availability through electronic
communications appropriate for teachers in their departments and curricula.
1.1. Office Hours
Office hours must be posted
on the teachers' office door, listed on course syllabi, and provided to
the departmental office.
1.2. Electronic Communications
Electronic communications
addresses, URLs and numbers must be listed on course syllabi and provided
to the faculty member's departmental office.
