1. Persons who are not currently enrolled on campus and who have gained, through
study or experience, knowledge of the content of undergraduate credit courses
offered through Independent Studies may (with the approval of the Independent
Studies staff and the academic department offering a course) receive credit
for that course by special examination. Students may request approval to attempt
credit by examination by completing and submitting a form available from the
office of Independent Studies. Pay the applicable fee for credit by examination
through Independent Studies.
