June 1, 2004 Current Version.- Based on the Overload, Supplemental, and Summer School Pay workgroup’s review of the current regulation, it is being recommended the current regulation be rewritten. The following items address the changes being recommended and have been incorporated in the draft rewrite of the Overload Compensation and Supplemental Pay regulation:

1) Changed the title from “Overload Compensation and Supplemental Pay” to “Additional Compensation for EPA Employees”;
2) Formatted the regulation to be in compliance with the Guidelines for Drafting Policies, Regulations, and Rules;
3) Added definitions for compensation and additional compensation;
4) Added clear, concise instructions on the approval request process;
5) Clarified limits on additional compensation; and
6) Added record retention information.

November 8, 2005 Current Version - Revised to move final approval for additional compensation exceeding 20% from the Provost to the Dean or appropriate Vice Chancellor.
