April 20, 2001 Current Version - the revised policy rewrites the previous policy to address
only policy and authorizes the Chancellor to establish mediation procedures
and a program to implement such procedures. The revisions (along with proposed
procedures for the Chancellor's review and implementation) resulted from
recommendation of the Faculty Senate after lengthy deliberations and consultation
with staff and student representatives. The revision will supercede the
previous policy enacted on November 21, 1997.
