As an agency of the state of North Carolina, NC State University is required to follow various federal and state laws and regulations, as well as policies and regulations of the University of North Carolina.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all political activities of SPA employees are in compliance with Office of State Personnel rules and regulations and applicable federal laws.

2. Covered Employees

All SPA (Staff) employees and persons employed by North Carolina State agencies are covered by this policy.
