amend policy each time there is an organizational change of senior administrative
personnel reporting to the Chancellor or Provost.
November 20, 1998 -
Amendments incorporate current delegation of authority to the Academic Affairs
and Personnel Committee for appointments; permit waivers to the process
by the Committee where special circumstances exist; clarify which administrative
officers are subject to the policy; to clarify the Chancellor's authority
to delegate to the Provost searches for positions that report directly to
the Provost; and make other clarifying and editorial changes.
November 17, 2000 -
Changed title of the policy and made amendments regarding the search and
selection process for university senior academic and administrative officers
(Tier I).
