As an agency of the state of North Carolina, NC State University is required to follow various federal and state laws and regulations, as well as policies and regulations of the University of North Carolina. 1. Purpose SPA (Staff) employees who are required to work on designated university holidays receive holiday premium pay for all hours worked and compensatory time off based on the number of holidays for the week. 2. Covered Employees Full time and part-time permanent SPA (Staff) employees, persons in time-limited appointments, trainees, and probationary employees (exempt and non-exempt) are covered by this policy. |
