As an agency of the state of North Carolina, NC State University is required to follow various federal and state laws and regulations, as well as policies and regulations of the University of North Carolina.

1. Purpose

Longevity pay is an annual lump sum payment based on an employee's salary and total state service.
Covered Employees

SPA Employees. Longevity pay is paid to employees with at least 10 years of permanent employment.
