As an agency of the state of North Carolina, NC State University is required to follow various federal and state laws and regulations, as well as policies and regulations of the University of North Carolina. 1. PURPOSE These rules cover categories of employees with special pay provisions. 2. COVERED EMPLOYEES Employees under age eighteen, law enforcement employees, nurses, work-study employees, temporary and student employees, volunteers, political volunteers, and agricultural employees are covered by the Special Employee Categories Policy. |
