Source: Office of State Personnel - Appointments As an agency of the state of North Carolina, NC State University is required to follow various federal and state laws and regulations, as well as policies and regulations of the University of North Carolina. An appointment is the approval of an applicant or employee to perform the duties of a SPA (staff) established position. The appointment of personnel into classified university positions is subject to the approval of Employment Services. COVERED INDIVIDUALS Applicants for SPA positions and SPA employees are covered by this policy. |
