1. INTRODUCTION:
Criteria are outlined for prospective clients with respect to Computer Training
Unit (CTU) course registration rate structure, discounts, and training lab
rentals relevant to individuals, groups, governmental units, and organizations.
2. REQUIREMENTS:
The following outlines important course fee and lab rental information applicable
to participants as well as training planners/coordinators.
2.1. All course offerings are priced separately, depending upon the number
of days and the duration of the course on a full cost recovery basis.
2.2. Group rates are available at a 15% discount off the regular registration
fee. A prepaid minimum of six (6) courses per quarter from an individual
or organization is required to qualify for a group rate.
2.3. There are no group discounts on certain certification courses, government
rates, package prices, or any online courses. These are identified in all
marketing publications.
2.4. A government rate is available and advertised for select courses. Governmental
agencies are defined as being from local, state, and federal government
as well as public schools, community colleges, and public universities.
Local, state, and federal contractors are not considered government agencies.
2.5. Registration fees for online self-paced courses include instructional
guidelines with userid/password; three (3) months to complete each topic,
complete online tutorials, technical support, and certificate of completion
after completing the course requirements. Books are not included. These
offerings are compatible with Macintosh (limited selection), Windows 98,
Windows 95, Windows NT, and Windows 3.1. Internet connection must be through
Netscape Navigator/Communicator 3.0 or higher or Microsoft Internet Explorer
3.02 or higher.
2.6. CTU has six (6) labs available for rent, when not in use by CTU. Inquiries
should be made at least five (5) months in advance. Lab rentals include
a state-of-the-art teaching lab with 10 - 14 PC's, 20 - 28 chairs, white
boards, projector, projector screen, podium, and room key. Snacks and lunch
can be provided at an extra charge based on actual cost.
2.7. The lab rentals have two pricing categories: Private Sector Rate and Government
Rate. The number of days and frequency of rental reduce the base rental
rates. Instruction and materials are not included in the lab rental fee.
