Tuition Waivers - Over 65 and Family of Emergency WorkersStudent Accounts
Additional References: University Cashier's Website Guidance and Interpretation: University Cashier's Office Director (919-515-6010) 1. Purpose: 1.1. Persons who qualify under the provisions of North Carolina General Statute 115B for these waivers and who complete the required forms and apply timely may have their Tuition waived. This waiver applies to Tuition only. The waiver does not extend to any fees. 2. The Rule that governs waiver of Tuition and Fees for North Carolina Residents Over 65 Years of Age and Certain Family of Deceased or Disabled Emergency Workers is as follows: 2.1. Persons applying for the Emergency Worker Waiver must follow the requirements of and provide the information required by the Administrative Manual of the University of North Carolina, Chapter X, Section B at: http://www.ga.unc.edu/publications/admin_manual/chapter_x.pdf 2.2.
