First Issued:

November 18, 1994 Archived Version (Effective November 18, 1994 through September 18, 1997) - Committee established by BOT action to amend the By Laws to include a standing committee to be named Budget, Finance and Planning Committee. The Committee was given the duty to advise the Chancellor consistent with BOG delegations of authority (i.e., development of budget estimates for the institution and with respect to the execution and administration of the budget as approved by the General Assembly and Board of Governors.)

November 21, 1997 Archived Version (Effective November 21, 1997 through April 16, 1998) - reformatted

April 17, 1998 Archived Version (Effective April 17, 1998 through April 15, 1999) - added new duties and changed name of Committee to Finance and Planning

April 16, 1999 Archived Version (Effective April 16, 1999 through July 13, 2003) - Deleted responsibility for coordination of fund raising among Endowment Board, foundations and affiliated entities as a result of this function being given to the Development Committee. See Minutes of the Development Committee and subsequent BOT action.

July 14, 2003 Archived Version (Effective July 14, 2003 through November 18, 2004) - Revise by renaming section 3 and deleting subsection 3.3, to eliminate delegation of authority to the Finance and Planning Committee to review and recommend adjustments to student fees and tuition.

November 19, 2004 - Archived Version - Revised to change name to Audit, Finance and Planning Committee to reflect the current responsibility of audit reviews and to incorporate more frequent interaction and reporting of reviews involving senior level university employees, trustees or affiliates.

November 18, 2005 - Archived Version (Effective November 17, 2005 through February 16, 2006) - Change in trustee responsibilities. Added Section 5.3 regarding the establishment of Centers and Institutes.

February 17, 2006 Current Version - Revised Sections 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 to make changes in the trustee responsibilities.
