November 8, 2005 Archived Version (Effective November 8, 2005 through May 9, 2006) - Revision brought the copyright section of this regulation into compliance with REG 01.25.03 Copyright Implementation Pursuant to Copyright Use and Ownership Policy of the University of North Carolina in which the Provost has authority for copyright use at NC State University. An additional revision stipulates the Public Affairs office as the contact when proposed use of names, trademarks, service marks, symbols and images would not be for promotional purposes or would not identify goods or services.
May 10, 2006 Archived Version (Effective May 10, 2006 through October 30, 2007) To clarify the intent of November 8, 2005 revision of REG 01.25.06 that copyright licensing within the authority of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies should be directed to the Office of Technology Transfer for handling. Revised Section 2.3.1 and added new Section 2.3.2.
