1. The Committee shall develop policies and procedures to assure [that] acceptance of objects of art meet critical standards. The recommendations are subject to approval by the University Administration and shall be reviewed annually. In cases involving memorials or honoring donors or others, close coordination is required with the University Institutional History and Commemoration Committee.

2. The Committee is expected to advise the Harrelson Fund on its acquisitions policies and actions with respect to art. The Committee may seek additional critical judgment from any source it wishes on or off campus.
