Help AFAR by Recycling Print Cartridges and Cell Phones

The American Foundation for Aging Research invites your support by donating empty printer cartridges and used cell phones.  These donations will be translated into grants for graduate and undergraduate students conducting biochemical research on cancer, diabetes and other age related illnesses.

This is a simple fundraiser that helps subsidize AFAR’s budget. Our non-profit utilizes the FundingFactory Recycling Program to recycle collected cartridges and cell phones. The program features free collection boxes and shipping, online accounting, and a business component that enables companies and individuals to collect cartridges and cell phones in support of our efforts. When the boxes arrive at FundingFactory, the items are inspected and the value for each collected item registers in our online account.

We invite you to recycle empty cartridges from your printer, fax machine and desktop copier using the Funding Factory® Recycling Program. You can sign up in the business support program to get prepaid shipping boxes sent to your location free of charge. Business supporters simply need to load the boxes and leave them for the next UPS pickup. If you would be interested in supporting us in this way, please call FundingFactory toll-free at 1.888.883.8237. Give the customer service representative our school identification number, 56197 and they’ll set you up to support our account.

If you have any questions about this program, please contact Jaime Vodvarka at afar_office@ncsu.edu or (919) 515-5679

Thank you for your support!
