Fall Festival is Sept. 15 in Goldsboro

GOLDSBORO - A Fall Festival featuring educational exhibits and kids' activities, workshops and farm tours, live music, food and refreshments and even a farmers' market is Sept. 15 at the Center for Environmental Farming Systems in Goldsboro.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the center's Small Farm Unit. The Center for Environmental Farming Systems is on the Cherry Research Farm in Goldsboro.

The Center for Environmental Farming Systems is a partnership of North Carolina State University, North Carolina A & T State University and the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. It develops and promotes food and farming systems that protect the environment, strengthen local communities and provide economic opportunities in North Carolina and beyond.
