Commissioner's Speaker Series panel to focus on innovation

Agricultural innovation will be subject of the next in the Commissioner's Speaker Series at N.C. State University.
The series is a joint project of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The goal is to combine the resources of the College and Department to further an interest common to both of them, namely preparing today's college student to lead and succeed in agricultural careers.
The third and final event of the series, "Innovation in Agriculture: What's the next big thing," is scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, in 1404 Williams Hall, NCSU campus. The Agricultural Institute will co-host.
This session will shed light on what experts believe is the next big thing in agriculture. Troxler will ask the brightest minds in the industry about their plans for changing the future of our industry.
