| Walnut Creek flows through the North Carolina State University Centennial Campus. A dam on the creek created Lake Raleigh. The dam was destroyed during Hurricane Fran in 1996. These pictures were taken in early 2001 when dam reconstruction was nearly complete. Lake Raleigh will be a central feature of the landscape surronding the new Centennial Campus Conference Center and Golf Course. | |||
