Godetia 'Flamingo Red'
Trial: Annual
Years Trialed: 2001
Good Qualities:
Great colors (2); We grew in greenhouse and have never had luck with godetia until now B It bloomed until 6/30/01 and had to remove it because of spider mites B We are trying it as a winter crop too B We think we can do better with it in the winter.
Problems:
We are too hot for summer production (IL), all plants dead by 8/15; Poor germination.

Comments:
Sakata's Grace series is superior, in Chicago we grow godetia's as a winter or early spring crop.
