Matthiola 'Joy Formula Mix'

Trial: Annual

Years Trialed: 1997

Good Qualities:

Excellent color (3); Bloomed even earlier than AGoldcuts@, mostly double, singles were useless; Long stem life; Good uniformity.

Problems:

I felt the rows lacked an income that would make them a viable crop. Possible changing our method of cultivation; Too many singles; Poorer gemination than the AGoldcut Red and White@; Bloomed poorly.

Comments:

I felt these were some of the prettiest stock I've ever seen.
