Dr. Roberto Köstlin in 2004, and two months in the Ohio State University under the guidance of Dr. Kenneth Johnson and Dr. Michael Kowaleski in 2005. In 2006 she moved to Columbus, OH where she did an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at The Ohio State University under the direction of Dr. Shane Bateman. She completed the program successfully and she received the Outstanding Intern Award 2007. She is passionate for everything related with surgery of small animals and she loves working in teaching hospitals where there is always direct work with students and the opportunity of continuing her veterinary training with classes, seminars, rounds and the learning from the professors. Her dream would be to join a residency program and be trained to become a board certified veterinary surgeon. Mila was born in Spain and she always lived in Madrid, prior to moving to USA. She enjoys travelling, sightseeing, reading and being with friends. She enjoys meeting new people from different countries. When she has free time, she likes painting and being with the family. She loves her job. As of July 2008, Mila's dream has come true. She was awarded the 3 year residency in small animal surgery. We are proud and excited for her!
