Professor Susan Toplikar Retires

Professor Susan Toplikar has retired from the Department of Art + Design after teaching nearly 25 years at the College. During her tenure she received several teaching awards, including the 1998-1999 NC State Outstanding Teacher Award. Exhibitions of her work have been held at A.I.R. Gallery in New York City, the Marita Gilliam Gallery in Raleigh, Artspace in Raleigh, the Fayetteville Museum of Art, and the New Orleans Museum of Art. Her artwork is part of collections at NC State, the State of North Carolina, and Meredith College, to name just a few. Toplikar is retiring to paint full time in her studio.
