CAM (Contemporary Art Museum) announces summer studios for middle school and high school students


CAM Raleigh (Contemporary Art Museum) is pleased to announce the Summer Studios, week-long art and design workshops for middle and high school students. Registration for these programs will begin on Tuesday, March 15, and more information can be found online at cam.ncsu.edu.

High school (rising 9th – 12th) studios offered include:

  • Paper, Pixels and Picas: Graphic Design (July 18-22)
  • Spaces + Places: Architecture + Landscape Architecture (July 18-22)
  • Through the Lens: Animation + Filmmaking (August 1-5)
  • Art to Wear (August 1-5)

Middle school (rising 7th – 8th) studios offer a broad introduction to the world of design and sessions will be held June 27 – July 1 and July 11-15. The studios take place at CAM Raleigh (409 W. Martin Street) and will include design projects, field trips, and visits from artists and designers.

Registration begins on March 15, 2011.
